I love all of these poems I think all of Tupac's poems are great

I have started a new book i remember in like 8th grade i started to read the hatchet series by Gary Paulson but i stopped i don't remember why but i did. Well i was looking around the other day at barns and noble and i saw the hole series sitting there soooo. i gave in a bought a couple of them. i got the river brians return and brians hunt i think ther one i started right now is going to be great. I am reading Brians return and this is when brian has made it out and then out of nowhere a man comes to his house wondering if he would be interested in taking him into the alaskan wilderness to do what he had done before. Brian was a little uneasy about this because this man didnt know the real story of Brians past he almost died in the wild. After like a week or so he said yes to the exabiton.

Action list 5.3.11

I think it was a great accomplishment that we killed Bin Laden. He has been trying to create as much problems in Iraq as he could. Some say that we didn't really kill him just the other day. Some say that we killed him about 8 years ago. Lets think he was one of the most cocky people in the middle east he was sending videos out every other day but he has been silent for about 8 years now. not a single video. hmmmmmm. A little bit suspicious right. There are many different stories I'm just saying i really don't know what to think about this one.

Action 3.29.11

I think that a lot of these kids have general idea of what they are going to do in the future but i am not totally sure of what i am going to do yet. I think i relate with the guy who is undecided haha i think he and i kinda have the same view we both wanna be rich but not quite sure on how we are going to do it.

The Dart League King pg 1-26

This book seems pretty good so far. Russel is the main character and isn't really the American dream. He is a coke attic and is in a lot of trouble with some bad people he is in dept and owes a guy like 2 thousand dollars. At this moment in the book he and his dart team are going up against another team that is undefeated. Everyone thinks that Russel is going to loose but somehow Russel has convinced himself that he is going to win. Russel has a shady background his father left him alone with his mother from day one. He has been doing coke for a while and since he owes his old dealer 2 thousand dollars he now gets his coke from some high school kid.

The Dart League King Intro

I have just started the Dart League King I think its going to be a god book from the few pages i have read it seems like an interesting book. I really like the character Russle he seems like he is going to do a lot of crazy stuff.

Hunger Games Pg. 320 - The End

Starts off with Kat fleeing the scene in witch she escaped death. She makes it back to the cave but she is badly wounded. She has a huge cut of her face from Clove. Right when she gets back to the cave she passes out. She wakes up to peeta siting over her. Peeta explains how he doesn't know how long shes been out because the sleeping potion Kat gave him before she left. Then it begins to rain and rain and rain. it seemed to rain for about 4 days so they couldn't do anything with the creek on the rise and the low visibility. In this time they begin to get a lot closer then before. Kat actually starts to like him the same way that he likes her. Then the rain stops and Haymitch sends them a huge meal of lamb stew and rice. They divided the food and slowly began to eat it. They made sure to take there times because they remembered the time on the train when they stuffed there faces and then later on threw it all back up in a matter of hours. After they ate what the wanted they began to work out a plan. After all there were only a few tributes left in the race. That night the see the face of Thrush in the sky. Kat feels bad for him even though she didn't know anything about him other than he gave her a second chance in the games. They start to move tor ed the lake but the noise of Peeta stomping was scaring all the game away so Kat showed him some berries that were safe to eat and sent him to get berries. She also taught him the tune that Rue and she used earlier in the book. Kat strayed off in search for game and after a little while she didn't hear the tune she began to worry and went back to the site she had last seen Peeta. She freaks when she cant find him then she notices that some off the food and other supplies are gone. Peeta comes out of the bushes carrying some berries. She instantly yells at him for not singing the tune. Then she asked if he ate some of the food. He said no . Then they see Foxface in the sky and then Kat realizes that foxface at the berries that peeta had, and he picked the wrong kind... the kind that are deadly. They continue onto the lake. they Finlay make it to the lake and refill there water. They here a disturbance in the forest the they see Cato running out of the woods. Kat sends an arrow and hits him in the chest but he has body armor on. Then they see the pack of huge wolves behind him. the begin to run to red the cornucopia. Cato gets to it before they do . Peeta and Kat make it before the wolves eat them. All of the tributes are now on the same monument. They began to fight on top of the cornucopia and then Cato falls of but also takes Peeta with him. Kat grabs Peeta's hand as he falls but he gets bit by a Wolfe before she makes it. She saves his life but Peeta is hurt badly. They sit all night on top of the cornucopia and they hear the wolves eating Cato. When morning come they still hear the moaning of Cato inside the cornucopia he is suffering so Kat sends an arrow into his head. They end up winning the games and get to go back home.

I thought this was by far one of the best books i have ever read and i would recommend it for anyone that loves a book with plenty of action and keeps you on your toes at all times. I never knew what was going to happen next.

Hunger Games Pg. 280-320

In this portion Kat and Peeta are back together and trying to fight for there lives. she Finds Peeta on the side of the creek bank covered in mud and leaves. Kat almost steps on him when she is tacking the bloody trail that Peeta has left behind. After the meet up and actually sees the severity of Peeta's wound. She doesn't know what to do about his wounds so she gets the leaves that Rue had showed her to treat inflammation. When she presses the chewed up leaves on Peeta's leg it beggins to ooz pus and Kat almost vomits at the site of the yellow goop coming out. They spen the next view days together and when they are spending time together they show the audience of the games the love they have for eachother and then they kiss. Right after they do this a little silver parachute fell from the sky. They spend the next few days in the cave that Kat built to shade Peeta. Then the here over the loud speekers a loud voice. It says that there is going to be a feast but there is going to be somthing that each tribute needs in a back pack. Peeta doesn't want her to go because there is going to be a bloodbath there. but she refused. She got a gift from a Haymitch it was a sleeping Poisson to make Peeta fall asleep so she could go get the back pack for her and Peeta. She gives it to peeta and then runs to the cornucopia. she encounters all the tributes that are left and when she goes to get her pack her and almost dies but Thrush almost saves her life by killing Clove. then he gives Kat another chance because she was friends with Rue.

I love this portion of the book it has everything i love in a book Action drama its awsome.

Hunger Games Pg. 240-280

In this section of the reading it's right after Kat blows up the supplies that the Careers were try to hold on to. Kat is walking back to were she had last seen Rue. She can find her and she is beginning to get worried. Then she hears the melody of notes that Rue had tought her. The mocking jays were tweeting the same set of notes. Kat is starting to go a little bit faster just so she can see Rue. And then out of no were she hears a scream. Not just any scream but a little girl scream something that only Rue could scream. Kat yells for Rue Kat is getting fast and faster. Then she sees Rue in a net and then the boy from district 1. The boy pierces Rue with the a spear. Then Kat shoots the boy with her bow. She hits her target right in the neck she comes up to the boy and yanks the arrow out of the boys neck and looks at Rue's wound. She knows it is to much for her to do. She sings a song to Rue as she slowly slips away. Kat is devastated and mopes around for the next day or so. Then she hears the familiar voice on the loud speaker. They announce that if two tributes from the same district can win. Kat thinks that means both her and Peeta can win. She realizes that she has to find Peeta. After all he is wounded. She fallows the creek were she finds Peeta on the ground covered in mud and lea vs. She spends two days with Peeta when the voice comes over the loud speaker. There is going to be a feast this means that something that each remaining tribute will have something they need dearly waiting for them the only problem is that it is an almost guaranteed death trap.

WOW this little section of reading i think has been the most intense part of the whole book so far I mean it has everything emotion desire and most of all action there is a lot of action that really keeps you on your toes the whole time.

Hunger Games Pg 190-240

This is when it gets good. Kat is suffering from the tracker jackets and is stumbling threw the woods and is incapable to do anything at this point. When she is stumbling threw the woods she sees Peeta he comes out of the forest and he is sparkling she doesn't know why then Peeta says to run so Kat starts to when when she sees Cato come out of the woods with his sword drawn. She sees Cato wound Peeta but she doesn't stay around for long. The next day she looks into the sky and sees that two others had died from what we all assume was the tacker jackets. After she goes threw a intense trip off of the tracker venom she and Rue team up and become close friends. They live together for a while and Rue tells her everything she knows about anything. Rue is now an alli to Kat they share everything they get and they basically become a small family. Rue tells Kat about the Careers camp that they have by the lake with the large amount of food and supplies all in a pile. Kat and Rue make a plan to destroy the supplies so the Careers would then have nothing. That night Kat goes to the edge of the camp and waits she scopes out the place when nobody is there. When everyone leaves she makes a move she slings an arrow and severs a burlap sack that had apples in it and set off every min that was set to catch any intruders and blows up all the supplies that the Careers had.

I loved this part of the reading i loved how there is a lot of action and how Kat and Rue team up. I really liked this section truly a part were I couldn't put my book down.

The Hunger Games Pg. 158-190

This is really getting good. The games are getting crazy. Kat is doing what Haymitch told her to do get as far as possible. But she isnt doing to well she is started to become dehydrated and is just dragging. She knows that if she would sit down she would not be able to get back up so she continues on. She calapses and is on the ground for some time she thinks this is a good peacful way to die and then smells the lilys and feels the mud on her fingers. She looks up and there she sees the pond . She walks over to the pond and begins to drink she fills up her water bottle and stores some of the water. That night sitting she climbs up a tree and fastens herself in for the night. She wakes up to a smell and the feeling of fire. she un clips herself from the tree and notices that there is a huge forest fire that was cause by the gamemakers. She starts to run and everywere she goes there is just more fire and smoke. her eyes and lungs began to sting she felt the sting on her leg as a fire ball almost hits her. Kat notices that the fire is beginning to stop this means there is another tribute close to her so what does she do? Kat does what any animal that is being hunted would do she scurried up a tree. Then she looks below and she sees not just one but five tributes looks like the carreers and then she cant believe what she is seeing she sees Peeta. The carreers try to get Kat all day but non of them succeeded. They left her to sit in the tree for the night. There Kat began to plan her escape.

I think this section of the book shows the real side of the hunger games , the fire balls coming down from the sky and the Kat fightng for her life. I think Kat had a great amount of courage to not pass out when looking at her burnt mangled leg i would of for sure passed out and would of been done for.

The Hunger Games Pg. 138- 158

These pages show how intense the games really are and how the citizens of the capitol look at them. Kat is stressing over the games. The night before she cant sleep she spends most of the night thinking of what kind of terrain the arena is like and what she is going to do. every so often she might of got a lil bit of sleep but is woken by the picture of herself in the arena. She wakes up to Ceena touching her hand. He says she must wake because they have a lot to do before the games start. Her and Ceena go to a room underneath the arena were she has to get ready. This room has never been used by another tribute it is brand new. Each tribute has their own room to get ready for the games. Kat is given a leather like setup she said it fit her perfectly.  Her and Ceena wait for what seems like hours, at least for Kat. She sits and thinks of what is about to happen. Then  Kat is summoned to the arena were she waits for the gong to ring. her heart was fluttering, she was thinking of her first move. She remembers what Haymitch said about get to the woods and find water as quickly as possible. She is looking around and at the golden horn she sees a bow. She thinks about if she got the bow she would have a great chance of defending herself. She looks over and of in the distance she can see Peeta. She couldn't tell if he was looking at her because of the sun. Then it looked like he was shaking his head at her then without notice the gong rings everyone bolted. Kat didn't know what to do she picked up a small peace of plastic and ran. she came to a pack and another boy was going to fight her for it then the boy spit a sticky liquid on her face it was blood the boy had a knife in his back. Kat started to run and saw the girl that killed the bow focus in on her. She kept running until she new te girl had given up on chasing her. 

This part of the book is were i think all the really intense action is going to take plase. Already somebody has ben killed and Kat has mad into the second day of the GAMES.

Easily  one of the best books i have ever read. Its everything i look for in a book, its action pack it put an image of what is going on into your head and it always make you think what is going to happen next.

Hunger Games Pg. 100-138

This is easily the best part of the book so far. In the part Katiness and all the other tributes have to go in front of the Gamemakers to show there skills. When all the other tributes have gone accept the District 12 tributes Katiness was ready. When she was Showing them all her great skills she became very mad. She didn't like the way that the Gamemakers were not looking at her, instead of looking at her most of them were concentrated on a roasted pig that just came into the room. She fired an arrow and shot the apple out of the pigs mouth and walked out.She was so mad at herself . she thought that she had blown it for her and her family after she wept for a while she finally calmed down. After they announced that she got the highest score out of any of the tributes. She thought this was the best thing ever. What came next was the interviews this was a critical part for every tribute. This was a chance to win over the Gamemakers and get sponcers for the games. Cinna made the best dress for the occasion. when the time came Kat was sweating bullets. But she overcame her fear and steped up. After she got her 3 minutes it was Peetas turn. Caesar had his fun and finally came to the question is there a girl you like. Peeta said ya she didnt know who i was untill the reaping. and then also said SHE CAME HERE WITH ME!

This was the best line in the book it completely turned the whole game for everyone and i really dont know what is going to happen next.

Hunger Games Pg. 75- 100

In this part of the book the reality of the games and the strategy behind them really comes out. Kat and Peeta are forced to work as a team by there coaches. Both Kat and Peeta both thought this was a bad idea because in the end they will have to kill eachother. They continue to work together threwout this part of the book. Also all the tributes are forced to train together this creates some tensions between all the districts. Peeta and Kat have a plan not to show there true talents untill they are evaluated indivdualy. So when the tributes train both of them lay low and do some of the low key stations such as camoflauge and knot tieing. Kat find out that she isnt to bad at tieng nots and Peeta is really good at making designs for camo.

In this part of the book both Peeta and Kat learn alot about eachother like how Peeta is the one who does the frosting on the cakes in the bakery and how Kat is really good at the bow every page it seems like both Kat and Peeta are getting closer and closer. I think that deep down they really like eachother but are tying not to show it because after all they have to fight to the death.

Hunger Games Pg. 50-75

 At this point both of the tributes from District 12 are taken by thier given disigner. They are taken to seprate rooms to be cleaned up by several people that work with the designer. Katiness was striped from all her leg hair first then her face was trimed up all the unwanted hair was ridden from her face. Katiness didnt know what to think of all the hair was taken off her legs she thought they didnt have to do that but the makeover continued. All the tribute's from  every district has to ware somthing that goes with what thier district is all about some fishing some agriculture but for district 12 that was coal mining . Cinna was Katiness's designer he was new to the program this was his first year being a head disigner for a district. He cam up with the idea of having a fire somwere on the outfit. When both Katiness and Peeta were walking out in front of the people of the capital they went nuts. Thier outfit was the best out of all ther districts. Cinna made them hold hands when walking out into the capital when they did somthing kinda clicked. For the first time both Peeta and Katiness looked into eachothers eyes and thought WOW.

I think these pages show what is going to happen when the games start. I think that Peeta likes Kat and Kat likes Peeta but they dont want to tell eachother that.

The Hunger Games pg 30- 50

Katiness volunteers for the hunger games and the second child chosen is a boy named Peeta Millark. Katiness met him before he gave her two loafs of bread when peeta's mother cought kat snooping in thier trash. Kat has a lil bit of a weekness for Peeta because this act of kindness. all the tributes are hulled onto a train to go down to the capitol for the braudcasting of the games. On the way to the capitol the tributes are given all they can eat food and drinks. Also on the way to the capitol katiness cant stop thinking about how Peeta was so nice. when they arived at the capitol they were greated by the whole city. Peeta was waving to all the people and kat notice that maby him being nice was all a plan, a plan just to get in her head and make kat think that he wouldnt kill her.

So far this book is looking really good. I cant wait untill they acually start the games. I bet when they do start the games thing are really going to pick up.

The Hunger Games pg. 1-30

So far in hunger games i have been introduced to a family. A girl named Katiness her little sister "Prim" and there mother. They are on the poor side and are battling starvation each and every day. Katiness's father died quite a long time ago and he mother has been in a state of depresion ever since. Since her mother was not able to take care of the family Katiness has had to take care of the family. Katiness usually hunts outside the gates of distict 12  ( the place they live) with a boy named Gale. He is very good friends with her. They work as a teem to bring food back to their familys. If they are cought in the woods they wood be killed on sight.

Every year everyone gathers in the town square for the reaping they call it. This is when all the children in the town from ages 12 to 18 are put in the middle of the square. with everyone around them . The mayor will choose the names of one child inevery age between 12 and 18. then these children will be placed in the HUNGER GAMES. This is when the children from each district fight to the death last person standing wins.

The First child to be chosen is the 12 year old and Prim was chosen. Katiness offed to take her place and she did.

I think this book so far is awsome i can't wait to see what happens next its one of those books that make u never want to put it down.
